Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement marking 3 October Turkic States Cooperation Day, noting that the date falls on the 17th anniversary of the signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement — described by Ankara as the founding document of the Organization of Turkic States.
In its statement, the ministry said the Organization of Turkic States has evolved into what it called a significant platform for institutionalizing solidarity and strengthening cooperation among member states, drawing on shared history, language, and bonds of brotherhood.
The ministry announced that the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States is to be hosted by Turkey on 29–30 October. Ankara described the upcoming gathering as an occasion that will further advance the partnership among member states.
Türkiye's Foreign Ministry stated that Türkiye will "resolutely continue its efforts to transform the human, economic and strategic potential of the Turkic world into shared prosperity," framing this objective under the banner of building what it called "the Turkic Century" in unity and solidarity.
